Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actress who works on TV and in films is most well-known for her roles in films like Rush and Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. She was the sole one child to Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra entered showbiz early and landed up acting in lead roles on various series on TV by the time she was sixteen. She was praised for her performance of Der Tunnel. This paved the way for more memorable performances, like Adolf Hitler's Secretariat Traudl Junge. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are also Oscar nominees featuring models. Alexandra worked on several notable projects both at home and abroad over her career.
