Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney, who was born Amal Alamuddin from Lebanon, is a Lebanese and British barrister who was a human rights advocate over the years. Following her graduation from the Oxford University School of Law she pursued a successful and long-lasting career in human rights and international law. Her clients include many prominent nation states, such as Armenia and its struggle to get the Turkish Government recognize that there was an Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney arranged for American actor George Clooney to marry him in 2014, and instantly became a household-name in popular entertainment. Her name was well-known and admired for her ability to represent clients successfully and with expertise in the legal field in the years prior to. Her work spans from dealing with human rights and social justice issues to representing several multinational corporations during negotiations and court actions concerning government regulations. Since 2015, she's a barrister one type of legal representative in British courts in London's Doughty Street Chambers.
